Pathway: Latin American & Latinx Studies Minor (20 credits)
A flexible interdisciplinary minor that can be completed in two years depending on placement and course sequencing.
- Open to students in any major
- Coursework begins at SPAN 201 or 290 (based on placement)
- Includes both study abroad and non‑study abroad options
- Common pairings include: History, Political Science, Sociology, Spanish, Education, JAMS, Psychology and Global Studies
Students gain a strong foundation in cultural analysis, social justice perspectives and the historical forces shaping Latin America and Latinx communities.
